  • Al Franken got screwed. He should be in the senate. He resigned honorably for behavior that would be encouraged now.
  • @unvergebeneid
Imagine you left Congress over a crude photo and now the place is full of these people.
  • When Senator Franken was first running for office in Minnesota, I spoke to his wife, Franni, at a high school gym caucus. I walked away from that conversation having learned something about Al: he is not dogmatic, he is contemplative and he is open to being wrong about an issue. I want nothing more from politician.
  • Al Franken I think you were a great Senator, you stayed witty but also respected the office you were holding and respected the Senate and our government in general. I am still angry at how the Democratic allowed the Republicans to demand that you resign.
  • @bretEdwards
Love Franken. His prior book "Rush Limbaugh is a Big Fat Idiot" is also a must read! Funny as hell!

Franken is missed. His voice is important. We need more than just his weekly podcast
  • @awelsh3258
Senator Harry Reid called Al the "smartest" man in the Senate.
  • @zlaynie
"No one can beat Ann Coulter at being the worst"
  • @TheRealAntFarmer
Before Franken was forced to resign from the Senate I had been hoping he'd run for President.
  • @billoxiiboy
So unbelievably refreshing to watch an informed and intelligent political discussion that wasn't based upon identifying a minority group and beating-up hate toward them.
  • @KristineMaitland
I could be wrong here (speaking as a Canadian) but the one thing that stood out to me about the reaction to the pandemic was the fact the one of the first Americans of renown to get to work and deal with the situation (putting her money where her mouth was) was Dolly Parton.
  • Anne Coulter; "I've never seen women so happy about their husband's deaths". Melania; "Just wait".
  • @user-un4zy3rw7m
For the on millionth time I ask "why isn't Al Franken still in the senate."
  • @NeilTaylor1
Al Franken’s a true gentleman. He’s so polite, he can even sit on a chair without walking all over it.
  • @1bwight
