The 4 dots ( oooo ) mean a morse code "H" for Hyundai. Doug you missed out on a giant quirk.

This car isn't weird, it's beautiful and finally something different. I saw one of these on the road the other day and almost lost control because it looked so different and so awesome. I will be buying one at somepoint. Really happy with Hyundai's creativity here.

If I ever decide to start driving again, this is exactly the kind of car I want. Hyundai/Kia have come so correct the past few years. They went from bottom-barrel to top-tier in the mainstream segment surprisingly quickly. Every vehicle in their lineups is a real contender.

The four pixels on the steering wheel is Morse code for "H." Even more weirdness, and I love it.

had one of those parked nearby and it actually had people stop to look at it. It's a cool design, absolutely makes it clear that it's a neat new, snazzy electric car without going all overly weird like some other brands did in the past especially.
-
Even though I might not always like it, I do appreciate how hard Hyundai are unleashing their styling designers. They stick out on the road. Also, the magnetic panel is most likely a phone holder, lots of phone mounting widgets use a magnet that you stick to the back of your phone.
-
love ‘em or hate em, recently hyundai has consistently popped out cars with unique designs that are attractive but not too weird, props to their design team!
-
Never thought I'd say it but this and the EV6 are currently the best looking cars on the road by a wide margin. I've never wanted an electric car before but I would take either of these in a heartbeat
-
I love the retro styling of this thing, it looks like a concept car. It's so nice that they translated the concept design to the final production vehicle.
-
Having seen these in person, I can say the Ioniq 5 is definitely one of the coolest new cars.
-
as someone who has never been a fan of hyundai, this car is asthetically pleasing. super cool look. i imagine having a lowered bagged look and euro wheels will set this off.
-
I just test drove one yesterday. I was extremely impressed and I love the 80’s inspired exterior.
-
This is one of the first cars I've seen that looks futuristic without feeling like it's trying too hard to look futuristic... if that makes sense

Another good thing worth mentioning about Kia/Hyundai models is they update their maps for free. I have a 2017 Ioniq and have been getting built-in nav updates via SD card since I bought it all for free. This really helps with the livability of your car long-term as you don't need to shell out hundreds at the dealership to get them to update it for you.

I love the styling. Seeing it in person it's so much bigger than it looks on screen, and it stands out. Me and my sister were looking at it for like 3 minutes. I think the design will age well
-
Absolutely love this design, nothing "weird" about it for me, just plain cool.
-
This is the coolest looking production car in years. Hyundai knocked it out of the park. I would love this same design, in actual small hatchback form.
-
I've seen quite a few of these and they look fantastic in the flesh. They really stand out and the interior is lovely.

I'm absolutely in-love with this walk towards "futuristic throwback retro designs" I like that something looks like it's both from the year 1980 and 2080 at the same time.
