Adding some juicy driving to my game in GODOT

Published 2024-06-05
Funnier than this video is that now I also found a plugin in Godot Asset Library that implements this type of system. Funny right ? working for a few days on a system and video, just to switch it all over again ? .. This is rigged I tell you…

By the way, the plugin is Godot Easy Vehicle Physics, round of applause to this.

Anyhow, not joking anymore, huge shoutout to this guy who made me implement this system and it was feeling pretty good even with basic settings:

And you already know we always have available spots for another jokster in town. Link below:

Nice video! I’m starting to learn Godot myself so very interesting to see other developers making games with it :) Also, Checked out that Asset Forge, seems like a decent way of making assets, I might buy it as well. Keep up and looking forward to seeing your next videos. P.S. Would also be nice to add some music during the part where you make your garage asset 😊

This looks amazing! Making a vehicle controller from scratch sounds like a huge project

looks good so far, would it be possible to add like,a cool semi truck? like a big ol Peterbilt,or maybe even some silly vehicles that no taxi company ever would use, like a bulldozer garbage truck or a zamboni, still, very excited to see where this will go
  • I think you should keep the technical aspects aswell in the video but maybe add some "funny" in the video (other then those random footages/clips lol) and you really shouldn't add completely quiet or even only music footage/montage in the video if its not gameplay. its boring and just nobody would like to watch them and it will just kill your retention other then that nice video :)
