  • Videos like this remind me of the early 2000s when the discovery channel and the history channel where actually educational and not filled with fake realty show's.

One million men working on 13000 miles of wall at such impossible heights. This is mind boggling. Truly remarkable achievement for that time 👏👏

I imagine columns of thousands of people that looked like ants. Imagine just the logistics of supplying food, water, wood and materials to all the workers.

I've been to 6 sections of the Great Wall already and I hope to be able to explore more of it.
  • The fact that these structures cannot be built now ,they were made uniquely and look absolutely insane 😍

Stopping penetration of the wall wasn't the main purpose, it was meant to hold up and cause delay just so thar reinforcements could be sent. Every wall can be penetrated, when being attacked the watchtowers would signal for reinforcements from the other watchtowers.
  • This definitely deserves its spot as a world wonder, such a significant formation. Also, we need more of such informative content videos like back in the day.

(0:06) 13,000 Miles of Wall Dude, my mind was so blown by that stat that the rest of this video just went in-one-ear-and-out-the-other.

Can you imagine a ancient battle there. Thousands of bows shooting off that wall had to be nuts. I can only picture a helms deep type of battle there lol
  • I am watching this on my way to the great wall as part of pre-visit information gathering process

Scientific description: super tough bricks 😂

My answer is China if we have a time machine and to be at this era when this mighty wall was constructed. It truly truly earns the spot to be the Wonder of the World.

0:33 like some three-year old looked at the map and decided to draw a few lines here and there. "look daddy, I drew a bird"
