I bought a 1tb card of Amazon and got lucky they sent me 2 for 1
  • @jgkingcrusher
They just need to release bigger memory cards (which I do like) but make them twice the size and half the cost.
  • It is nearly impossible to get the 2tb seagate for the Xbox Series X Over here in Ireland without paying a arm and a leg for it, as for WD the max they are doing it only the 1TB, they need to be a lot cheaper than what they are now charging for them. Esp for the prices they charge for them over here in Ireland.

moving between HDD to internal is my go to, it’s nice having the bulk of gamepass downloaded locally
  • @Hexx_Iztenze
I have 3 TB for Series games. 2tb expansion card that I got on sale and, of course, the Series X built in memory. 4TB external for non Series/Non optimised. It works for me. However, I do think they need to lower the price on those expansion cards. It also sucks that there is only one expansion card port. It would be nice to have 2 plugged in.

So where is the flat glowing HD seen in the image for the video?
  • @synthmania7275
I agree!! Ray. I sometimes miss cartridges on the super NES :). Compact just engineered. Love your show!!

Mandatory Series X versions/updates is a problem too. There's no reason for games like RE2 and 3, Persona 3P, 4, and 5, or other older games to be forced onto players, especially since other Series X optimized games CAN run off an HDD
  • @darylandcat
I bought the 2tb expansion card for my Series S thinking I’d load it up and game until my hands bled… All I installed was Skyrim and Diablo 4…
  • @Toker510
I got 3 tb in my series x with 1tb expansion card and a 1tb portable ssd for all my Xbox one & 360 games
  • @ForOdin
You’re making a huge argument for just building a gaming PC
  • @supraman221989
They need to make it so you can put whatever size internal you want into it. I got there 2TB upgrade card. And I got that filled. So I have 3TB, internal. That's filled and now I got an 8TB external that I have 50% filled.
  • dam and i thought i was worried, i have the series s and now i just decided to only have the games i really do enjoy or try it on cloud before i actually download it, helps out alot.
  • @Davidcharrod
You can use external drives and transfer games very quickly.
  • Xb or Ps - not getting a storage expansion and just deleting/reinstalling games onto that smd ssd will absolutely negatively affect the lifespan of said ssd.
  • The functionality (smart delivery?) where you can start playing the game before it is fully downloaded shows to me that MS is aware of the problem with the large download sizes.
  • @DraphmirEmpire
I have Xfinity gig speed internet but like on a Island so the speed spikes up and down with the waves making downloads more reliable than xcloud on my Xbox One with 5TB(1TB internal+4TB external Hybrid)
  • @bocogaming
I've been using an external 5TB WD Black HDD with my Series X. I keep games I am currently playing on the console and everything else on the external. 60 games installed and I still have 2-3 TB of storage left. One thing they don't tell you is that some X/S version games still run on regular external HDDs. Not all, but some. Games also run perfectly on the external, no lag or stuttering. So I don't think the newer X/S SSDs are really worth it.
  • @WarHeadinc1
Okay this has been going on for years. I love how the old 360 days ways. If you had a 20gb. You could buy a 2tb, move your stuff over and use the 2tb as your main or just backup without any issues. If Microsoft would let us buy a higher ssd memory that has the same write speed and let the console use it (its files to access the games folder & etc). Then people will upgrade their consoles to buy more games from the marketplace. Only down side I see from this is that you will have to break the console warranty sticker. If the Xbox made the ssd more accessible like the ps5 (remove the cover or have an opening like the 360 slims had but smaller).
