  • Puts a whole meaning to Doc Brown's response: "no no no, this sucker's electrical!"

This is the way a Delorean was always supposed to sound!
  • I've driven EVs for 8 years now. I really wanna do this with an old G body Monte Carlo SS. Some day it will happen lol.

The wiring and wires look like a living nightmare… how do you not get PTSD from dealing with all that wiring … ur a genius. Kudos.

Also, it works! This was worth binging, and it's had the side effect of teaching me how my (intact) Chevy Bolt operates. Can't wait for the next installment.

I expected the cybertruck to be as cool as this but was let down. This is amazing!

Love it. I have a Bolt, and I just love the sound of the electric motor as you accelerate from a standstill. Great job.
  • @AndrewMackoul
Awesome ending, I'm glad you were able to pretty much achieve your goal!

Kudos to you Bill, you have fulfilled a dream, something most of us rarely get to do . One thing is, I've never dreamt Quite that big though. Although it is not quite finalised at the Moment, I can visualize how good it will all look when it is absolutely finished. You have been very Meticulous, and It pays off when you get to the Stage you are now at, drivable. Very nice work.
  • AWESOME!! I can’t think of a better way to put a Delorean back on the road. Hope you enjoy many years of cruising around in that beautiful machine!
  • @SDKmotors
Thanks for sharing your dream coming true! The first ride of a project is always as scary as emotional! Congrats!!!
  • Great going Bill. Many of us have a similar dream, and it is great to see that you put all of this together, and now have your own running Delorean EV!:glasses-purple-yellow-diamond:
  • Congratulations! I remember how it felt the first drive I took in my EV converted Fiero. I thought Deloreans and Fieros were about the same size. From what you said it seems Deloreans are about 500 lbs. heavier than Fieros though. I would try to put it on a lightening program. :)

Superb work - don't let the system stop you ! They will invent the flux capacitor soon and you will be the first to use it.
