  • I recently bought one, and I really like it. I use it to listen to railroads near my house.
  • I have a bc75xlt but buying another scanner would be useless I would love this one!!!

Cool! I've had the BCD325P2 for about 3 or 4 years and it's an amazing scanner but all the paint on the buttons is worn off.
  • I own this exact type! I’ve had it since 2014 (used average 4-8 times per month) and it’s still a great scanner!

Nice to see someone from NJ on you tube I'm in Clark NJ just got the DC355N 800MHz uniden base scanner
  • "It's easy" is only true for someone who is familiar with these kinds of scanners. For a beginner the Bearcat is devilishly complicated. Suggestion: explain what "All channels locked" means when you first turn it on. It would save several hours trying to understand the manual and doing research on the Web. I am a skilled aviator. It's easy. For me : -)
  • Nice Video Matt! Have the Same Looking Scanner but mine is a Uniden bc75xlt
  • Has the model evolved at all from the original release? If not, are there competitors - such as with digital signal processing?

Thanks for the video, very helpful. Will this radio charge with a regular old USB cord or does it need a cord that only the company makes?

I am looking at a uniden bearcat BC 125 80 handheld scanner now is it a plug and play or do you have to program the stations in there because to my understanding I'm getting mine from Amazon and again the young lady Amazon said there's a couple pre-programmed stations in there is that correct
  • Funny thing is I was about to get this scanner, but instead I went with the BaoFeng UV-5R V2+ because it was cheaper. Works great tho.
