My ex boyfriend, who had a bankruptcy history, asked me to co-sign an 80K car loan. I’m so grateful I ran fast enough. 🙏🏽
  • I’m 19 been watching this channel for a week now and I’ve come to the conclusion to avoid loans at all cost
  • She’s gonna make it. Instead of being defeated she got a second job and she called Dave and asked for help. She shared personal stuff on the radio because she knows in the end it will be good for her.

If you are not married, don't play house.
  • @lavinder11
Why are non-married couples mixing money like this?

It makes me cry when he says, "I'm gonna walk with you kiddo." It's really sometimes all of us want to hear. I'm not crying now. Ok. I am.

Dave is very kind to this lady. His empathy is positive and hopeful.

Ironically, finances were what finally make me leave my abusive relationship. Every single month it was a fight to get his tiny portion of the rent (I paid all other bills working 2 jobs) and his name wasn't on the lease. By almost the end of the year I was so terrified he was going to get us evicted, I put in my 30 day move out notice. I just finally woke up and said "you ruined my life, I'm not letting you ruin my credit" haha, sounds silly but it set me free!!!

Don't play house. It's such a terrible idea. Don't sign a contract for ANYTHING unless you share a last name through marriage.
  • Ladies and gentlemen please learn the lesson this woman gave. If you don’t have a life together you should not play house together.
  • Not married and having joint accounts and credit cards together is a no-no! Too bad she didn't have some of this advise before but I hope she learns this hard lesson.

Her ex will reap what he sows for doing that to this woman. I know she will pull through.

I love how Dave is no-nonsense yet compassionate when taking calls.

First of all, don't shack up. Second of all, NEVER EVER comingle funds with someone you aren't married to. Even then, be cautious.
