Final shot was basically: “we expected it but damn we didn’t expected that…”

this will either be accidentally hilarious or genuinely terrifying

Most definately the scariest movie recently, actually made me tear up. The whole idea of a demon possessing people through trauma, you cant get rid of it and no one believes you, truly a traumatic experience to be in
  • That last bit scared the crap out of me. I feel like if I watch this, people smiling at me will become terrifying.
  • Loved the last scene. It 100% set you up to think "she's gonna bend down and be grining" then what happened happened and my heart left me lol
  • Everyone is smiling. What a wholesome movie! Can't wait to watch it!

Awhile ago a girl at my work told me this movie was really scary. I thought she probably just frightened easily. I finally got around to watching it last night and all I have to say is she was right, it is really scary! Granted a number of the scares are jump scares but it doesn't solely rely on those to be effective. And you can definitely see the influence other great horror movies had on this director.

Rest in Peace Moustache! Anyone who saw the movie will understand what I mean. Good movie; it kept me engaged throughout with a lot of suspense, and top notch acting! I hope the sequel holds up as good as this one. 8 out of 10 for me!

The last scene was brilliant because just how we all thought that girl was about to smile, but it was a complete different act. That makes me feel like the movie's gonna be good too
  • the last scene is basically when u know something is going to happen, and it did but not in the way u expected and now im going to remember it for the rest of my life

This movie is actually much better than it looks from the promo. Not just scary happenings and killings but very well played and planned what is the real problem and how to make it scare and imagine what if it would be on yourself. The main character was very logical and knowing the human intelligence level it describes very well how it can be very problematic and how you can be very alone instantly because of everyone's ability to believe and understand only something that they see and have learned. And the woman was in summary pretty smart. Although, I think in this condition, I would ask everybody just to lock me in chains or something and would have stopped to meet everyone completely just in case. But seeing how this spirit's ability to cheat the victim's mind you still can be never sure of did you really made everything completely right or if you just think so. 😀

This is by far one of the best and scariest movies I’ve seen in the past 10 years. The lead actress’s acting skills are absolutely insane, what an incredible believable performance. BRAVO!! If you love great horror films you need to watch this.
  • This actually looks really good and really scary. Something about sinister smiles in horror movies make my stomach drop
  • The way they set up all these scares is genuinely terrifying and that’s not something we see in a lot of modern horror films. The ending scene alone has me excited for this.
  • Did anyone noted that at the start of the trailer something happened behind her when she was on the phone booth. She listened cracking sound at very last pinch before the girl killed herself and at the end when the girl knocks on the car mirror the same sound I hear...that's made my heart out!!❤ this movie is worth watching man!

Really liked this movie. I don't doubt that this stuff is real, or really possible. The BEST part of this movie is how well it builds suspense, and uses space, lighting, and silence, to really get the feeling across.
  • @sabrinae.6361
Props to the actors, their smiles are really selling it.
  • @Xavierpng
Not sure if I plan to go see this or not, but this is probably one of the best horror movie trailers that I've ever seen. It's so unsettling and really keeps you on edge throughout the entire trailer. That jump scare at the end is so effective!!!
