Lesson on onychomycosis. Onychomycosis is an infection of a nail by fungi known as dermatophytes. These fungi invade and consume the nail, leading to characteristic nail symptoms. Treatment involves either topical antifungals or oral antifungals, which need to be used with precaution due to particular side effects.

Extremely helpful for my derma rotation! Are you a dermatologist?

20 years ago, I took Sporanox orally for a bad case of Onychomycosis – my toenails were in pretty bad shape. Once I completed the Sporanox treatment, took some time off and then started on Lamasil orally for the recommended period. My toenails still look good after treatment years ago. We now know about the liver issues so everyone should make their own choices about treatment.

My nails were the same as in the video before. Later, I used LANBENA nail treatment essence on the recommendation of a friend and it was much better. It's great!!!

My fingers and nails are mildly clubbed. I first noticed it 5 years ago (it may have existed before). Now I am 22 and recently someone told me lung cancer and congenital heart disease are the most common causes of it. Can I have any of those diseases?

LYSOL SPRAY KILLS NAIL FUNGUS. BETTER THAN ANY OTHER TREATMENT. So like a year ago I hit my toe so fucking hard it got bruised and bloody. Some how the nail got infected and started growing a thick nail on that one toe, but on both of my feet... which is weird I didn't hurt the other foot. Somehow they both shared the infection. Well, we have recently been spraying our running shoes with lysol... sometimes I don't wait for them to dry and eventually I was like occassionally spraying my feet with the lysol spray. Long story short. It's quickly killed whatever was on my toe nail. Now it's going back to the normal sized nail. It's way better than any store medicine. You probably don't want to spray your feet if you have cuts on them or cut too closely on your nails exposing sensitive areas... I know some older people have really bad nail infections and the store shit doesn't work. Lysol really does work for the stubborn nail infections.
  • There are several things for treating nail fungus naturally Soak your nails in warm water and tea tree oil Apply natural oils such as lavendar, lemongrass and epsom salts which have antibiotic and antifungal properties Further ideas you can try are pepper, coconut oil. (I learned these and why they work from Sebs stopper secret site )

November is when I started noticing a nail fungi yet I ignored it. Now, my left index fingernail is gone and my left middle fingernail is 99% covered in fungi😭
