I’m a percussionist, and I showed this to my band leader. He literally suggested to kick me out of the band, and get that Lego machine instead of me… Edit: I don’t know how this comment got that many likes. I hope it’s not because you agree with my band leader.

The fact that Song 2 was actually “Song 2” was a beautiful touch

Is noone gonna talk about the absolutely flawless transition all the way from 3:06 to 3:16?
  • @Martin-xh1hd
3:11 the slow transition from plastic clicking to drum sounds is so cool and badass

The Lego pieces just snapping into each other that quickly sounds like something I'd hear in a HowToBasic video
  • I'm just amazed by how well it actually works. I didn't have my doubts, but just looking at the thumbnail I couldn't fathom it playing anything any more complex than "twinkle twinkle little star." Bravo!

As a musician and someone interested in engineering and electronic music, this checks all the boxes for me! Excellent build!
  • You‘re amazing being able to merge so much different skills into something like this! 😮

This design is very reminiscent of player pianos from the 1800’s. Interesting seeing it applied like this
  • 3:06 Excellent job editing the timing of the Legos for the music score clicking into place to match the upcoming beat - the intuitiveness definitely makes it easier to understand what’s happening in the video, which makes it more relatable and thereby more enjoyable to watch - keep it up!!

That's a Wintergatan level of mastery right here.

I LOVE the part at 5:47! "Make sure cat does not eat lego!" was hilarious!
