We took this railroad trip back in 2008. It was AMAZING! I wanted to put this here in case any of your viewers have special needs. I did with a husband in a wheelchair. They were fantastic! They have a lift to get him up into the train. Bus with a lift in the park. And even someone to help me carry the extra tray at lunch. It was a wonderful experience all around. We did it in summer when they were very busy.

We did this ride on Feb 27 years ago. While waiting around to start boarding, I got a cell phone call, the “sheriff” took my phone away and talked to my daughter who had called to wish me a happy birthday. After he chatted with her several minutes he gave me my phone back and my daughter said oh you’re going to have fun.

Took train to Canyon at Christmas time few years ago. Overnight in Williams and 2 days in the Canyon. The Pullman car with bar and couch type seating is worth the price. Full package includes Williams room and food along with same inbthe Canyon. Seeing it snow at the Grand Canyon is amazing and worth the price.

We did this at the end of September. 1 night at the hotel in Williams, 2 nights at the Canyon, and back to Williams for 1 night. Fabulous experience. We took the observation car both ways. The railroad really treats you right.

I was lucky enough to ride on the very first trip to the Canyon on the train. My husband was on the city Planning & Zoning committee that helped to make the train a reality so he was a "dignitary " and we were included on that first trip. SO much fun to ride with everyone celebrating. LONG day as the steam engine had a hard time pulling too many cars. Totally worth it.

My family and I stayed at that rv park when it first opened my kids loved it because of the trains going by and we also did the Grand Canyon train ride too. Thanks for bringing back great memories and making a super cool video.

When I circumvented the country, I was mesmerized by the Grand Canyon! (The guy on the train, turquoise shirt, cracked me up. He reminded me of people who move around to get in a reporter's shot! 😆)

My hubby and I and our best friends (a couple that my hubby meet while taking college courses) of 47 years are planning a trip to GC in 2023 and this excursion looks like a given to do. I can’t say this enough! I love y’all. Luv your energy, your stories and the way y’all get along with each other is amazing! Anyone can see you’re not being phony when you mention one another. You’re best friends and it shows! That all makes for great entertaining. Btw, did you ever try baking soda in Dave’s shoes for the odor? Lol. One more thing. Just subscribed, great video, it brought me back to my wife and I's honeymoon that we took to the Grand Canyon back in September 2022. The music that you added through the video was AWESOME, wish I knew the song titles. I will keep watching for sure. I especially like the fact that you are camping throughout this trip. We are also avid campers and that's how we vacation and travel all of the time. So Awesome.

If they still have it between Thanksgiving and New Year they run the Polar Express. It is a real treat if you have kids.
