when i see the statistic that autism is diagnosed 4 times more in boys than girls i think about all those girls who are frightened and lonely and not able to find help with their neuro diversity because they have been told they are difficult and odd. imagine how difficult and odd the whole world is to someone with unidentified aspergers?

16:50 I thought everyone could see the cycling of a fluorescent light, and hear the buzz???

Things I've heard from people on the spectrum; "I put my car keys on top of my lunch box in the fridge so that I know I need to interact with the fridge to get my lunch before driving to to work." If I'd have known how many times I'd forget my lunch box I'd have started doing this years ago, it's pure genius!

The face blindness! I did wonder. Now I have a reason for it. I didn't recognize my boss I've known for over 15 years because he was at the beach.

This has been enormously helpful to me. It underlines how much Australia is missing resources for adults on the spectrum.
