Well when you decriminalize shoplifting, what do you expect?
  • @FM-nm4ng
Store owners should go over there and shoplift their stuff back since there is zero chance that they will get arrested.

If that toothpaste he is showing for $6 dollars at target, and $2 at the flea market.., WHAT DO YOU EXPECTED!!?

If someone is selling laundry detergent. You gotta know, it's stolen 😂😂😂

"Retail theft is down this year" Is that because 10 Walgrens are closed ?

Meanwhile in Japan you could ride your bike to the train station, leave it there unlocked, and no one would steal it. If you asked them why they don't steal, they'll tell you it's unconscionable.
  • Every single person selling stolen merchandise should be sent to jail and fined a hefty fine… No excuse for any of these people. F them All !!!

This is a shame, people have lost their sense of decency. Stealing is so wrong, and we the consumers are the ones who have to pay the increase prices because of these crimes. Much more should be done to protect these businesses.

"Retail theft is down this year," uh, not it's not. It's 10 times worse.
  • @neckarsulme
looks like a "mostly peaceful" re allocation of merchandise

Well, go to the markets & arrest the idiots selling the stuff...it's a no brainer.

I remember when I was going around to many stores in GA and SC, I came across some smaller ones in the lower income areas who had everything behind counters and windows. If you wanted something the clerk would get it and bring it to the register, so you had to pay for it before it was handed over to you. They had gotten tired of being robbed when they weren't looking. It worked for them.

Thefts are down, let's me ask Walgreens about that. Oh wait there closing their stores in mass.

“Retail theft are down” bc no one has been arrested so there’s not gonna be any RECORD of theft on anything at all

Watching those thieves stealing store merchandise, and not even batting an eye at the manager makes me angry! I worked hard my life to pay for what I needed/wanted, and when I didn’t have the money I didn’t get what I wanted! These people have no morals!!
  • @timbuk1126
That's ridiculous.. No wonder prices are going through the roof.
  • @philipenos2930
Before the CVS on 7th and Market in San Francisco closed, thieves would sell the merchandise they stole right in front of the CVS store. This shows the direct failure of Prop 47.
  • @Only1Dizzle
Retail theft is down, yet you've had to close 17 Walgreens in San Francisco and stores have limited hours due to theft. Make it make sense...smh

This is disgraceful. They either failed to listen to instruction and dishonor their family, or(more likely), their parents didn't raise them right. Either way, it's an embarrassment to the nation and local communities.

Toothpaste $6, Shampoo $10, Tide Pods $10, Razors $15...Who's exploiting who?
