As a woodturning beginner, I thought I'd document my attempt to make a chess set. In this episode, I make a knight. Even though I sped up a lot of the video - it's still kinda long. The knights had many more steps than the other pieces!

I made a chess knight by cutting the profile out on a block of wood in the scroll saw, then used double sided tape to re-attache the block together, turned it 90 degrees and cut out the front/back view. I used a dremel to add detail, and then mounted the horse head on a turned base.
