The Nationals could have had Trout and Harper in the same lineup. The Pirates could have drafted Harper, but won 2 of the last 3 games that season after their GM said they were going to try to win as many games as possible. They finished 62-99. That is a cursed franchise.

It's annoying to me that every time that Marc even comes close to mentioning the 2020 World series it's always a asterisk next to it. Not a true ring. However when he got to Correa, that 2017 ring apparently is a real ring. Last time I checked every team had the same playing field in 2020. That was not the case in 2017. If you are going to put a asterisk in the 2020 World series then the 2017 world series deserves the same if not a bigger one.
