Mistake #1 falling into thinking that your ride along was your friend because he talking about how bad the job is. This fool gonna go back to the office and tell em EVERYTHING you said.

Theyā€™re not allowed to give you a van without AC, you shouldā€™ve told them before you left
  • @Tellyem
I just quit Amazon today. They gave me 344 packages to deliver. My van was so packed I couldnā€™t even move around in the van, I had to crawl over tote bags just to get overflow packages. Thatā€™s when I realized Iā€™m worth more than this. I only delivered 4 packages then I headed back to the fulfillment center, left all of their work stuff in the van along with all those packages and left. Iā€™m not going to over work and break my spine for some chump change. Then you get mad that I get overtime? Sorry not sorry. Eff dat.

Amazon, FedEx drivers need to unionize now. The fact that they haven't is one of the most ridiculous things.
  • Stop telling your trainer and coworkers your feelings about this job. Coworkers/Trainers are not your friends, their informants to run back to the boss and try to get you fired. Im surprised you didn't learn from the school bus vid drama.
  • I did it for 2 years. On my last week I was basically a dead man delivering. This job sucks, get out before Prime Day and the summer heat really kicks in. Itā€™s not gonna get better, it will only get worse.

Wow. Next time I order something Iā€™m going to leave a care package for my Amazon delivery driver. Iā€™m in Arizona. The temp goes up to 120 degrees sometimes šŸ„µ.

Worked for Amazon DSP back in late 2020. It was fun job and all, but got tired of peeing in empty bottles and dealing with asshole dispatchers because they track everything you do lol
  • @Joe-ix6sw
I could only imagine what you'd think being in my shoes I'm sitting at 250 pounds doing deliveries barley 5'5. I have to do this job to pay my bills and get my health back on track tho.
  • @abdielradames
This is a light ass route btw. If I got this amount of packages and stops Iā€™d leave the station with a smile on my face

I came from delivering appliancesā€¦Amazon is a cake walk compared to having Eight to ten stops of French doors, washing machines, living rooms sets, bed room sets to deliver in small doors and up three flights of apartments

As a FedEx driver I can relate with you on this topic. Been doing this for 3 years, while dealing with the Arizona heat, imagine delivering packages in 115Ā°F heat in the dead of summer with a truck that has no A/C. The truck is all steel and it gets above 150Ā° in the back of the truck. Iā€™ve had coworkers who have gotten heat related illnesses. Iā€™ve dealt with some nasty racist individuals to the sweetest people. FedEx is a wild ride for sure. I respect all of the delivery drivers from all companies and competitors. Keep strong my friend, you got this ā¤šŸ™

I work at the Amazon fulfillment center and itā€™s way better. Work is easy, warehouse is climate controlled with fresh water to drink. Plus you can work overtime and make 1k a week if you want.
  • @piercemchugh4509
So basically your main complaint is it's hot and there's a lot of work?
  • @Jay-dl5sg
I ainā€™t gon lie the ride along couldā€™ve most definitely helped dropped some packages off but Brodie sitting on his a** on his phone like a passenger princess.
  • @Boostavo
I hurt my knee running from dogs doing that shit bro!.
  • @RamCutMan
Honestly, I don't think this job is too hard, but I come from construction and I'm in shape. I quit after one month because they didn't guarantee the 40 hours weekly (I was doing like 34 average), hence it was very little money.
