I fixed mine today. It was stuck all the way back on the track. I unscrewed the plastic shielding on each side, ratcheted off the four bolts holding the seat to the frame, unplugged everything then unscrewed the motor from the frame. The replacement coupler was a very tight fit and I cracked the yellowed plastic housing in the process but it all went back together okay.

Need help removing the shielding from the side of the seats.. lol so I can replace the coupler

Where can I get the seat coupling is that what prevents it from moving back and forth?

I have an 84 Oldsmobile Delta 88 power everything did have the power seat but removed it because the plastic teeth broke do you know where I could buy everything again ?so I could have power seats
