great example of beauty is in the eye of the beholder. i find the giant 23” wheels horrendous. one could pick so many other designs that will make this beast even more imposing. and @$5K+ i’d confidently pass. anyone else? the noise in the cabin was great. thanks for sharing motoman!

Brian is a class act. You both make a great team and he sheds less than Kumo. Keep up the great work! I really like what MB is doing with their vehicles and these 48V electrical systems. I wish more manufacturers would get onboard with this technology. Your wishlist for a plugin hybrid would make this vehicle other worldly.

Part of me loves the engineering. You can just see how incredible this drives in the twisties. But part of me despises that obscenely low MPG. I wonder if e-tron could have been this fun with active sway bars and other tech.

How about ventilated 2nd row seats?!?! It's an option in the Palisade/Telluride twins, which cost 1/3 of this MB.

The car is so huge - the wheels work perfectly with it 23" really wow - this looks like a car straight from the Tuner shop for a music video.   I only knew this mono block wheels polished from Maybach - they really work. It looks like a truck, it has the size of a truck and it weighs like a truck - but - it moves like a sports sedan. Since we all will have to drive EV´s in the future - why not use a 2 t EV skateboard with bonkers power EV motors (4 of them) lets say 1000hp+, and a 1ton battery down there - with 200 kWh - go crazy Mercedes! Wishlist: How fast would it go? How far would it go? What company inside Mercedes would be better suited to try this out then AMG... To George - great that you have such friends like Brian, that reflects over Brian - but also about you having this kind of friends!

Motoman, GLS63AMG v. Alpina XB7? Also factor in that MB has had well documented issues with the 48V system. So much so that they have had to issue ‘stop sales’ on many of their autos with this system.
