This scene made me like Rhaenys even more. She knows who Allyn is, knows how he is Corlys' son, but still she treats him with so much respect. She gets angry with the one who is really to blame, Corlys.

She chastises her husband for not giving Alyn his proper accolades for his duty. âHe should be raised up and honored, not hidden awayâ She could care less what others think. What a true wife, what a true woman. So different from the character Catelyn Tully/Stark.

In the book, these guys don't get introduced until after Rhaenys dies, meaning I thought she never knew about them. But the fact that she did and she encouraged Corlys to bring them forward... just phenomenal

Rhaenys should have been queen. If she was then I'd wager this war would have never taken place and the Targaryen house would have had a chance of survival.

I love that she told Corlys to raise him up instead of being ashamed. Allyn saved his father and Lord's life. Be proud he is your son. Our trueborn is dead, my children are all dead, but you have him.
