  • I am a Padres fan who watched all 4 games between the Padres and Braves the past few days. And I came away from watching that series thinking that you, Braves are a class act with wonderful fans! I saw you several times when it looked like Padres players had been injured, yet you clapped and cheered when they got up proving the injuries were not as bad as first feared. I did not hear you boo our players like other fans do. You did not boo Tatis nor any other Padre players. I came away from that series with so much respect for you! Thank you so much for your southern graciousness to our beloved team! I hope you go very far this year!
  • Thank goodness we're back in the win column, Chris Sale has stopped the bleeding ( at least for now ) let's hope this lead to a winning streak, Sale and Ozuna were our stars tonight and now on to Chicago, GO BRAVES!!!!!!!!!
  • @joj9750
GG Braves, from a Padres fan! Wish your team stays healthy till we see y’all again in August
  • @David99356
Wow, sale and Ozuna are our MVPs this year. Who would’ve thought that?
  • Brutal home series! I'm glad we didn't get swept again. 👋👋 C'mon guys!!!
  • @that.cow_
what a game for Acuna. Finally got out of his slump.
  • @MrPauls0223
Braves are in a tough spot rn. Our best starter is hurt(Spencer strider) and we would be really good if we had him. Our bullpen isn’t the best rn either. But most of our players broke out of their slump such as Acuna and ozuna. Hopefully this atl team will be hot in the playoffs
  • ⚾Chris Sale🔥🔥 he came at the right time for the Braves.
  • @SoundFX09
Notes from the Game: + CHRIS SALE WAS A SENSATIONAL OUTING! 7 SHUTDOWN FRAMES, Allowing NO Walks and 5 Hits while Striking Out 9 en route to his 7TH WIN of the Season! Sale Improves to 7-1 with an ERA of 2.22. Perhaps the Braves have TWO Cy Young Candidates? + The Bullpen, after COLLASPING in Game 1, REBOUNDED in Game 2, with Pierce Johnson and Rasiel Iglesias FINISHING the Final 2 Innings, Allowing just 2 Hits while Striking Out 1! Iglesias gets his 11th Save of the Season, Pitching a PERFECT 9th while Recording 1 K! ROTATION TOTAL: 9 Innings, NO Runs, 7 Hits, NO Walks, 10 Strike Outs, NO Home Runs Allowed! With the Pitching getting back into the Form, the Braves' Offense didn't need to do much to EARN the WIN! + The OZ-MAN got the Offense Started Early with an RBI Single in the 1st! That would be his ONLY Hit, as he finished 1-4. Albies holds onto a .275 Average with an OPS of .736! + HAVE A GAME, TRAVIS D'ARNAUD! 3-4 with Three Singles and an RBI! d'Arnaud stands in with a .274 Average with an OPS of .859! + THE BIG BEAR KEEPS ON SOARIN'! 2-3 with a Double in the 3rd and a SOLO SUPER MISSILE INTOTHEBULLPEN in the 5th! Ozuna Steps Up to a .327 Average with an OPS of 1.047 and 14 Home Runs on the Season! + OTHER NOTABLES: Acuna, Olson, Duvall, Harris, and Short each Notched 1 Hit on the night, While Ozuna Provided the ONLY Walk in the Game for EITHER TEAM! Orlando Arcia was the ONLY Brave to go 0'fer, going 0-3. + DISATER F---ING AVERTED! While the Braves LOST this Series against the Padres, it took a HERCULEAN EFFORT from Chris Sale to PREVENT the SWEEP. Still, a FRUSTRATING 3-4 Homestand is enough to get me fuming about this team. Everything about this Team right now SCREAMS INCONSISTENCY. I know we're only Two Months into the Season, but the Braves feel like a Supercar with a BAD Engine or Ignition... You Turn the Ignition, you can hear the Engine Revving, TRYING to Start.... Yet it doesn't turn over. You SHOULD hear that Engine Roaring, and yet... it doesn't want to just Go! That's the Braves Right now... And it's FRUSTRATING to See. + SOME Good News though: While the Phillies were on BYE today, the Mets LOST to the Guardians, while the Marlins Walked Off the Brewers and the Nationals... OMG... They Ran the Twins OVER Tonight! This Puts the Braves 5 Games Behind the Phillies, while the Nationals, Mets, and Marlins remain 7, 7 1/2, and 13 1/2 Games Back Respectively. WHAT'S NEXT? With their time in Atlanta done and over with, the Padres will travel Northbound on I-75 to the Great American Ball Park, where the Cincinnati Reds will meet them for a 3-Game Set. Andrew Abbott will take the rubber for the Reds, who is coming off a DAZZLING Start against the Diamondbacks, where he Pitched 7 Innings of 1-Run, 4-Hit Ball in a No-Decision. Meanwhile, Joe Musgrove is expected to return from the 10-Day IL to Pitch for the Padres. His Last Start was on May 1st, where he allowed 2 Runs on 4 Hits in a No Decision against the same Reds Team he will face. Can Musgrove and the Padres keep the Good Times rolling on the Road? Or will the Reds and Abbott give the Friars a Proper Roadblock? We will find out at 6:40 P.M. EDT / 2:20 P.M. PDT on Bally Sports Ohio (Reds), and on the San Diego Padres Website? (Padres) It's Only been 5 Days... And we have to face them again? Seriously, what is with the Schedule these days? Well... It's the Chicago Cubs again, and... they haven't fared well the last 4 Games. Still, After what we went through with the Padres... We CANNOT Underestimate ANY Opponent, so let's show them what we're made of on their OWN Field! It's the Chicago Cubs... AND YOUR ATLANTA BRAVES! Round 1 of 3 Between the Current Runner-Ups in their Divisions will take place under the evening lights of Wrigley Field. Javier Assad will take the mound for the Cubs, who Pitched against the Braves Five Days ago... and DOMINATED them for 6 Innings, allowing just 1 Walk and 4 Hits and earning the Win. Meanwhile, CHARLIE MORTON will take up Battle Stations for the Braves, Who got BATTERED AROUND against these Same Cubs Five Days Ago... Allowing 4 Runs (3 Earned) on 3 Walks, 1 Hit Batter, and 5 Hits in ONLY 3 Innings of Work, giving him his First Loss on the Season... Can MORTON and the Braves exact REVENGANCE for being Denied a Sweep in Atlanta? Or will Assad and the Cubs Keep the Braves and their Fans Frustrated? We Will find out at 7:40 P.M. EDT / 6:40 P.M. CDT on Marquee Sports Network (Cubs), Bally Sports South (Braves), and... FOR THE FIRST TIME IN 2024, ATLANTA BRAVES BASEBALL RETURN TO TBS (National) FOR ONE NIGHT ONLY! SoundFX09, Signing Out!
  • Great communication between that wonderfull OuTField. Let's Go Braves!!! I C U Ozuna keep it rolling Big Homie
  • @johnwilson007
Azuna great game Padres outfielder great catch. Think it was Tatis.
  • @jeremiah_12
The doubleheader was progress. The Braves have been so bad that even a blown save was positive, think about that for a second. The offense has been so lackluster that, that I’m finally glad to have seen a pulse from them despite losing. Now can we go back to playing team baseball again????
