I am seeing these volvos in Bangalore since 2005. Karnataka state transport are having fleet of these.

Fun fact 😀 I drive this bus for more than 500kms in ghats and highway section with the top speed of 125+ kmph. Amazing experience.. from ets 2 1.40🤣

This is actually not known as air controlled...it is known as "pneumatic". There are definitely electronics involved to control the air supply... nothing today is possible without electronics!

Great video and I am sure it’s a great experience to drive a Volvo bus. Btw, the engine capacity is 7.7 liters/ 7700 CC (nearly 8 liters) , hence the engine model D8K.

I drive truck in U.S, I drive 2015 volvo vnl 860, 12.8 liter inline 6 cylinder diesel engine, 12 speed automatic i-shift transmission, it drives like a luxury car, or dare I say drives better than a luxury car, rides is so smooth, that I drive 105kmph legal speed hauling 22 U.S ton plus trailer and truck weight, total is around 40 ton, it rides like smooth as butter
