hello comrades! this is the owner of the car. its my daily, my only car and this was my first ever passenger ride in my own car and My first time at a race track, let alone my first nurburgring lap. Misha was the first one to test drive the car properly after the engine swap was done last week in england. Drove it untuned to holland and got it tuned the day before misha drove. After the lap i did 3 laps of my own and that was enough for me. what the video does not convey is the elevation change and the g forces that ive never felt before, which i certainly feelt numerous times as i forgot to breathe plenty of times during the drive. Thank you misha for scaring the shit out of me, i could not sleep until 03:00 that night and drove 36 hours back home to Norway the day after. Core Memory unlocked! Car Specs: Alfa Romeo GTV 916 (1993-2004) 1998 model Modified Fiat Tipo 2 chassis same as the brother (Fiat Coupe) 2,540 mm wheel base. 1390kg 3.2 V6 24V engine swap from the 156 GTA Light Weight GTA flywheel Quaife LSD GTA Cams Squadra Tuning 270hp at the crank with new 7350 rpm redline BMC CDA airbox Equal Length Downpipes 1 of 1 Titanium Wizard Catback Exhaust OverRacing Titanium strut brace 30% short throw shifter 26mm alfaholics anti rollbars front and rear Steering ratio: 2.2 Turns Lock to Lock 4 Piston front Caliper from the GTA/Evo/WRX Bigger master cylinder 23.9 Braided brakelines PFC Z rated front pads (i thought it was 11 as its called 1001.11) and Yellowstuff rear. this was why the pads did not hold up. Motul 600 fluid Fully powerflexed rear Eibach 20mm lowering springs Bilstein B6 shocks Sparco Milano R700 tuv Seats (Same as Brians R34 GTR in F2F) Sport Contact 7 225/40/18 Square Passive Rear Wheel Steer thanks to its multi link rear suspension Everything is new on the mechanic side, new wheel bearings, new cv joints all around, new front wishbones, new bushes all around, new clutch master and new slave, but not the clutch spring. i think after 25 years the spring needs replaced. Car was standard when i bought it 5 years ago, been upgrading for the past 5 years. i drive it between 8000 - 12 000km each year. North Norway season is may until late september. Its been driven 2 seasons in the snow -20degrees c at the most. with the new body kit its too low so its now reserved only for the summer. Any Questions you might have feel free to tag me and ask in the comments.

The old girl moves well, one of the best sounding V6 for sure 💪
  • @EnricoDellaDora
As an Italian this is not as exotic to me as it is for most of you, but this car in particular looks pristine, it's not overdone and sounds very very good, bravo!!
  • @davysw
Damn, mine is the red Subaru just in front when the lap started. My first lap ever on the ring. When Misha flew past me I was honestly scared shitless and that's when the adrenaline really kicked in for me 😂Couldn't stop shaking after that lap so I only ended up doing one. Had a chat with the owner of the car afterwards though, that car is one hell of a story !
  • @keessonnema
Damn, he wasn't lying, that really sounds like a Baby Ferrari F12 v12! Love that.
  • @setra23
That sound is why I want an Alfa V6 to stick in my MX5. They sound amazing.
  • @TRJx86
I am actually shocked how well this moves , props to the owner for making such a work of art. The sound is truly unreal.
  • @pinqpong
I drive a 156 2.5 V6 24v (swap to 3l 24v) "every day" and enjoy every ride. For twenty years! It's so good I had the bodywork restored the year before last and I'm hoping for another twenty :)
  • @mauromolinari99
The 2000's Alfa (147/156/GT/GTV 916) are some of the best FWD ever. Timeless design, great handing and incredible sound from the legendary Busso V6. They deserve much more attention and videos!
  • @eddie.antola
finally a Busso engine under the hands of Misha...an amazing video, really enjoyable
  • @londo0
I just cleaned and washed my beutiful alfa red Alfa 156. Watching this video have me heart palpitations imagining my poor thing running laps at Nurburing.
  • @alesnovak2906
Oh the memories..I've had a blue GTV 1.8 twin spark years ago.155 horse power only but on twisty roads it was a real pleasure to drive.
  • Was never a particular fan of Alfa, but this....this is such a work of art. The design of the car, that engine, that noise....incredible. As time progresses, this will be a certain classic. Gorgeous machine.
  • @GTfour01
This touches my heart. I had the luck to be the proud owner of a 156 SW 2.5. Busso greatness. It never missed a beat.
  • @michelq29
Busso power 😊 For anyone asking, this engine is called a Busso V6, it's a range of Alfa Romeo engines started in the 70s (by an ingeneer called Guisepe Busso), very well known for it's specific PURE sound, as long with great agility.
  • @rubenvalente
Thank you for finally showcasing what that chassis is capable of. The GTV is a superb drive, though it's unfortunate it wasn't rear-wheel drive. Still, it stands as one of the best front-wheel-drive (FWD) chassis ever. Paired with a twin-spark engine boasting around 220bhp, it could outpace many modern FWD counterparts.
  • @zdx197
This car is like a time capsule to the 90's, owner also knows his shit. Sounds amazing too!
  • @C.L412
It's not the fastest, but wow, it sounds amazing and handles beautifully. Looks like a lot of fun💪
  • @Cuotemoc
I'd like to take a moment to acknowledge Misha Charoudin's exceptional driving skills - you really did a great service in showing that despite being a front wheel drive car, with a good tune, a trick diff and tyres this car can still hang with a lot of modern cars today 👍 👍 And yes... I do myself own a GTV V6😃
