  • Dryer lint is great for starting fires. We carry it in plastic prescription bottles on our snowmobiles with waterproof matches.

Someone said, If you touch it Daily, Stock Pile that.

One thing that many people do not think of is steaming your food. In a dire situation, you may not be able to acquire cooking oil or butter to cook with but instead of holding meat or fish over a fire or trying not to have any vegeables you may be able to grow turn to mush in boiling water, you can use a double boiler to steam. Additionally, you can use a small raised stainless steel rack in a frying pan or cook pot with a lid and steam without using cooking oil. A few minutes ago, I hard boiled two eggs with a steamer using only steam. Perfect Thinking out of the box is really the only way people are going to survive an apocalyptic world.

Coconut oil is great for brushing your teeth.. it is anti bacterial, anti viral and anti fungal.... it is good for cooking and for body butter, etc.
  • THE TIME IS NOW IF YOU HAVEN'T BEFORE YOU NEED TO START NOW!!!! HARDCORE AND DON'T TELL NOBODY AT ALL NOT EVEN FAMILY BECAUSE EVERYONE HAS A BEST FRIEND THAT'S GOTTA BEST FRIEND!!, SO BEWARE AND KEEP YOUR PREPS UNDER GUARD ESPECIALLY SINCE THESE DAYS ARE GETTING WORSE!!!!!
  • Don, something else to consider (theoretically) is using the Flex Seal to coat the interior of the ammo cans for insulation. I did that with a few of my cans to store electronics (used 3 coats of Flex Seal per can). I made sure to protect the rubber gasket on the lid with painters tape during the application of the Flex Seal.

I have used cake pans with votive candles in it and a cake rack on top as a way to heat water when we didn’t have electricity for a few days.
  • Vaseline can be used as a substitute for cosmoline to use on firearms and parts.

ALWAYS ask before taking pallets. Some pallets are reusable, and folks can get VERY upset/angry when those get taken.

Didn’t make it all the way thru the video but a few five gallons buckets with lids are beyond versatile. Transport, protection, sitting, weight even filled and so much more

The heavy trash bags can be used for so much! Line gallin buckets for potty, shelter, warming water, protective barrier from nuclear to get home, etc. Love them
  • Storing cigarettes/cigars in the freezer preserves the tobacco & the flavor. I quit 3 weeks ago, putting that $$ towards better things. Just FYI if you do want to store it
  • Listen to this, I used to work for many years, as a maintenance worker in huge facility. My job, was always outdoors, either near a huge long beach, or on fields full of grass and wild life. When the elements of nature gone wild, only piece of gear I had to survive, was those black drum bags, that I used a ton of them every single day. What the survival instructors usually demonstrate, on how to use them to survive, is exactly what I was doing ,to survive bad weather. The closest building to me, was very far and in the same time, I had to stay out, because that's where my work was, Imagine my surprise, when I watched all those survival lessons, where all instructors, advised people to do, what all those years, I thought was ashamed of doing, putting a garbage bag as a raincoat...It can work to collect wild edibles, plants or mushroom etc, as also as a poncho. It has so many uses and it's super easy to carry one or 2 or even more. Versatility is your friend in the outdoors. Don't go for big heavy tools, go as lightweight as possible and always choose versatile gear. Do not fall into the marketing traps. You do not need Magnacut to survive. actually that and any other hard steel, is the last steel you want, in a long term survival scenario.
  • EMPs can occur naturally through solar flares and coronal mass ejections (CMEs), and a CME can also bombard earth with radiation.
  • As far as booze goes keep lots of smaller bottles for barter but what u plan to use yourself save a few dollars and get the bigger ones
  • Just for one instance speaking on zip ties they're good to have in your vehicle And also in your bag . I had a windshield wiper blade broke from the cold The clip that holds it on to the metal arm was scratching my windshield and I really needed windshield wipers at that moment and had to go to work And couldn't stop to get new windshield wipers because it was early And nowhere was open So I simply used a zip tie to hold my windshield wiper on with temporarily work fun in fact it seemed more sturdyier than with the clip lol
