  • I love you guys together! You're usually not on camera at the same time. Great video!

My dad lived almost twenty years in Rhode Island and introduced us to NEW ENGLAND BOILED DINNER—- steamed lobster, steamed clams, steamed corn on the cob, steamed chorizo, steamed potatoes and whatever else you want to add. An amazing meal.

Hey Mark, my memory of the last post I saw of you, I think you were in Berlin or Munich or some German city, and you were chatting about wursts...in the middle of a snow storm. As always, you shared insights and recommendations that are so very thoughtful, comprehensive, and valuable. All of your videos that I've ever seen covered various venues in Europe. Never North America, or the U.S. or let alone my home State of Maine. And never with Jocelyn. You absolutely, pleasantly blindsided me today! You are such a travel guru...a magnificent expert and educator that I convinced myself that no one would ever overshadow you as a travel advisor. Until tonight. I met Jocelyn! She is incredible. She is every bit as smart, every bit as knowledgeable as you, every bit as articulate, every bit as entertaining, and frankly much prettier! The two of you are so compatible that when one of you says something the other picks it up instantly and extends it to the next level. It's amazing. You two are an awesome couple! Thanks for all of your good work. Chris
  • Makes me want to book a flight right now! Great info and entertaining as usual 😊
  • I know your opening location well at Cape Elizabeth, spent many years vacationing there. I love lobster with lemon slices squeezed on it more than butter as I find it is flavorful enough as is. Old Orchard beach pier I noticed too. You did feature some items I never did try but will in the future. WIcked good stuff!

Only visited Maine once back in 2008. Visited Bar Harbor whoch was fun and had some great løbetur there. Then we drive to Millinocket but only to find all restaurants closed. Only place to get any food was a Subway. 😂
  • My personal fave place for lobster rolls is Nunans lobster hut. We went to the one in Kennebunkport mostly as we stayed with a friend there every labor day weekend. It brings me back a memory of my childhood as it was the 1st time i ever tried lobster. I remember my dad refusing to take me and my sister to the water park unless we tried it. I would go hiding under the table as a todler as i just didn't want to eat lobster. I saw them earlier moving in the aquarium and it was grossing me out. The second i actually tried it though it was my favorite thing ever. 😂

I grew up in New England, so I have eaten many Whoopie Pies. Down here in Maryland, I find them in Amish markets.

Thanks for talking about gluten-free options as my wife is now on a Gluten-free diet, and it can be hard sometimes to find Gluten-free options.

Nice video, but you missed so much of Maine. Maine is actually the largest State East of the Mississippi River. There is so much more than just Downeast.

Do they have lobster pie in Maine? Had in Boston and fell in love with

Seeing a lot of Wiscasset footage. Did you try Duckfat in Portland?
