Dino Bontis (Instagram: dinobontis) is a goalkeeper born in 2004. This video represents a compilation of some highlights during the 2013-14 indoor soccer season when he played for Hamilton Sparta 2003. Dino also trained with Just 4 Keepers. He played for Toronto FC Academy (2004s). The Toronto FC (2004s) won the U15 USSDA National Championships in June 2019.

He attended Hillfield Strathallan (Ontario, Canada). He was born in Canada but also carries a Greek passport given his family's heritage.

2017 UPDATE: Dino Bontis played for Toronto FC Academy at the U13 CONCACAF SSCL club championships in August featuring top teams from Canada, USA, Mexico, Costa Rica, Honduras, Jamaica, Trinidad & Tobago, etc. Dino won the U13 Golden Glove Award for top goalkeeper in the CONCACAF tournament.

2018 UPDATE: Dino played for Toronto FC in the OPDL U17 division (playing up 3 years) and did not let in a single goal all season. In July, he competed with his U14 team and won the Montreal Impact International tournament without letting in a goal.

2019 UPDATE: Dino competed in the USSDA U15 Mid-American division. The team finished the season undefeated and Dino garnered six shutouts. The Toronto FC (2004s) won the U15 USSDA National Championships in June 2019 beating LAFC 3-2 in the championship final. Dino was selected to play for Canada's U15 National Team and competed in the U15 Concacaf championships where they beat Mexico 2-0 and lost to Slovenia 2-1 in the semi-final. Dino secured two shutouts for Team Canada vs Mexico and El Salvador.

2020 UPDATE: Dino was scheduled to compete in the USSDA U17 Mid-American division prior to the cancellation of the league due to COVID-19. The U17 Concacaf Championships and U17 World Cups were cancelled due to COVID-19.

2021 UPDATE: Dino played for the TFC Academy U19s.

2022 UPDATE: Dino signed a CPL developmental contract for Forge FC and was selected to play for Canada's U20 national team at the Concacaf Championships.

2023 UPDATE: Dino trained with Forge FC and played for Sigma FC in League One Ontario. Dino played his second year with the Western University Mustangs and finished the season ranked #1 in OUA in save percentage.

    I was 12 when I first tried out for Toronto FC. They told me I am a great goalkeeper but my height wasnt there. I was 5'4 at the time. Im born in September so im a little shorter than the kids born in January. Now im 5'9 at 14 and looking to be over 6ft. im being scouted all over the place and was brought in to play with 03 kids (3 years older than me) This kid has a great future in Canada and hopefully in Europe.
