I read a report from the NOAA on Hurricane Harvey that stated the danger of storm surges could've been communicated better with modern technology. I suppose this is the realization of what they were talking about. Love to see innovations in meteorology and communication to the public! Hope it really did help save lives - I'm still catching up on the full extent of Laura's damage :(

Is amazing how they do the visuals. It really makes people say ‘Wow, we gotta evacuate.’ With a normal radar, many people wont mind.
