His comment about the necessity of women who are being abused should stay in their marriages for the sake of the children. I am an educator and a member of the clergy and the statement made by J.D. Vance is absolutely wrong. It is not healthy for children to see a woman being beaten up by the children. This produces trauma within children so severely that it takes years and years of therapy to get over it. Should people work at their differences to improve aa marriage with professional help, absolutely, yes. However, when a woman is getting a black eye, having bones broken and having her head knocked into the wall, it is insane for such a statement to be made. These behaviors perpetrated against women are against the law and children and the Mother should be removed from individuals who cannot control themselves with their anger in that home. It is outrageous to make the kind of statements which he is making. Please, I know there are Independents and Republicans who want to join us in fighting The Republican nominees because, quite honestly, they are dangerous. Join us in voting for Kamala Harris who will make an outstanding President. She is wise and highly competent and we stand up for people, especially women, to have a safe place in our country.

Vance has now brought up the fact that Kamala Harris lived in Canada. She was 17/18 years old and her Mother was doing cancer research at McGill University in Montreal in 1981/82. Republicans are desperate.
