This challenge, everything is black and white. I only get ONE chance to find the shiny. My screen is completely colorless - and my goal is to successfully pick out every shiny Pokemon I can in the world of Pokemon Legends Arceus. And if I'm wrong... the shiny Pokemon dies.

This colorless challenge was potentially my favorite I've done so far in Pokemon Legends Arceus. Playing in black and white and shiny hunting was so much more challenging and rewarding than I thought, I honestly would recommend it to everyone. Also massive respect to all the colorblind shiny hunters... except I'm starting to think you guys might be having even more fun with the game than me LOL

as an artist who's struggling to learn values in color theory, i would like to thank you, this video taught me that saturated colors are darker then desaturated colors. you may now mark this video as educational content :) (also this was very entertaining, i hope to see you in my recommended again!)

Huh, this is a VERY interesting idea! I wonder if you can modify a GB, GBA, or DS Pokemon game to disable the shiny animation to try this challenge in a nuzlocke setting...

Lol it’s funny because normally Garchomp isn’t as noticeable. But with no color, I could tell the difference.

Something I only found out recently, is when you’re targeting a Pokémon, if you press A, it’ll swap which Pokémon you’re targeting.

I can’t see most colors, so it’s interesting to see what looking for shinies like this is like for someone else.

That Carnivine luck reminds me of the time I tried to breed for shiny Dratini in gen 2 and as soon as I frustratedly said "I just want a freaking shiny!" I encountered full odds shiny Drowzee.

This is so interesting! When you turn on black and white, what you're seeing is the Values of the colours, so in theory, a pink and blue colour could look the same if it's values match. That's what you saw on the Bunery, the brown and pink colour have matching values

The madchad's back at it again! This honestly seems like a hella interesting challenge, because it really relies on your own color knowledge to accurately check just WHAT shade of gray corresponds to the sparkly friend...truly amazing.

This is such a cool concept. I wouldn’t have been able to find as many shinies as you did with this lol (Also, if anyone wants to try this, in the ‘System’ settings on the switch you can go to ‘Change Display Colors’ and switch it to Grayscale)
