An easy way to catch wasps is to always hold a net when shaking trees. Stand right in front of the tree and make sure there is nothing where the wasp nest can land. Your character will immediately turn to face the wasp as it spawns. Then simply press A to catch the was since your net is already in your hand.
  • You actually can get a Captain island with a season you haven't experienced yet. It could be rare, but I've had it happen.

Regarding teleporting with pipes, when I am moving a bunch of flowers from one area to another, I put pipes on each of the sites I’m working with. Dig some flowers, hop in the pipe, plant them, hop back, and repeat!

I restarted my old island after getting bored and burnt out from trying to find things to do, i got and apple island and the first thing that happened when i got on the island was get stung by wasps it gave me a funny idea to name it applebees

6:24 I put a Mario pipe in my front yard and then another one near nook’s cranny, which is on the other side of my island, it’s super convenient

I just recently learned that catchphrases spread. Muffy asked me to change hers and I gave her Qweeen because I thought it was funny. Then Eugene stole it, then Marshal stole it...

If a villager visits your house unexpectedly, the first time you talk to them, they’ll give you a gift. The 3rd time, they usually play a game with you where you can win another item.

If you want to get through your unwanted villagers faster then never interact with your dreamie villagers, only the unwanted ones. Like if a dreamie moves in, don't introduce yourself to them when they're in boxes. You can enter their houses but just don't do anything to trigger a conversation with them and the same goes with if you see other villagers talking to them don't join the conversation because that would count as an introduction, also avoid delivering gifts if an unwanted villager requests that you do to them. The game only regards villagers you've acquainted yourself with as part of the island and up for moving when the time comes for the game to cycle through them, so only your unwanted villagers will keep getting the thought bubble while your dreamies wont. When you're done with getting all the dreamies then you can do whatever with them. Yes for a while you wont get to interact with your beloved villagers and only the ones you want gone but it's that for a while or constantly having to scream at the game because your Sasha keeps wanting to move out when you'd rather Rocket wanting to move for weeks....... I suffered that fate with Rhonda for a literal whole year. I hate her for it.

I just started the game a few days ago 😅 I feel like I’ve spawned into a world I have zero experience in. I still love it though
  • @stefunnylim
to check if celeste is there, i usually just use stretching, click in and check if she's there and u can click out before the stretching officially starts so that saves time too

This may have been mentioned but there is a foolproof way to never get stung by Wasps ever again. Carry your net and always shake trees from the front. When you find a wasp nest, the game automatically turns you towards the wasps and you tap A and you will catch them every time.

I carry a trash can, workbench, storage shed and vines. Trash can to get rid of flowers I pull up or things I have with me I don't want to keep. Workbench to quickly craft something, storage shed to put away, get out quickly. And lastly vines. So handy throw up a vine and you can still carry your shovel or any other tool. And if you accidentally while terraforming get stuck, the vines are handy. I do t bother with the ladder anymore.
  • @Whatkraps
If your villager has a catchphrase or calls you a name that you don't like, you can talk to isabelle and tell her "about the way they talk" and they'll reset to their original catchphrases.

I’ve watched this video with a notepad to take notes. So informative and inspiring! I’m rather new at this game because I couldn’t afford a Nintendo switch. Luckily I got one this year and I immediately began playing animal crossing. I know this game was a hype like 3 years ago and that I jumped on the bandwagon super late, which makes me feel a bit stupid. But thanks to these videos I know there are still many others who play this game. And I love seeing all the tips, ideas and game frustrations in the comments. Thanks! ☺️

I remember the early days of ANCH, where we all had our friends going island to island every day with watering cans to TRY and help each other's flowers propagate. Now they're more of an infestation and inconvenience than the literal weeds.

The best way to avoid wasps while still having cedar and hardwood trees is this method: 1: Cut down all non-fruit trees. Catch all 5 wasps in this process for the achievement or use party poppers or other methods to avoid wasps. Your choice. 2: Plant 5 saplings and wait/time travel til they are fully grown. Surround these with bushes or fences so you cannot accidentally access them. These will contain all of the wasps, forever, until shaken. 3: Now you can plant any number of other hardwoods/cedars anywhere and never deal with wasps again! You're welcome!

How on earth have I never heard of "Press L to speed up text"?? That's fantastic. Have always just taken the "guess when the last moment you can safely press B is" route until now
  • @G32A
If you're unsure about whether Redd's art is fake there is a website and I think an app that tells you the difference between them.
  • Villagers immediately leave my house if I change clothes via my wardrobe when they arrive. They don't seem upset
  • @toykeyper8914
Great tips, been playing for a year and still learned some new things. Plus it's great timing since I just restarted my island, after shedding a couple tears saying goodbye to the old one :(
