Hellraiser Origins trailer

This actually looked horrifyingly cool. It sucks they weren't able to make the movie. I originally thought this was a fan film for the longest time until I came to learn that this was not only a concept but an attempt to make the actual movie. I would've loved to have seen what it was like in the Cenobite World (or Hell) before man and, if possible, before the creation of the Lament Configuration.

It's a shame about Hellraiser. There's a lot of potential in the original concept, but no one with half a brain wants to write a decent script based on it.

the saddest part of this is that instead of getting a pinhead origin movie or whatever this would be we got Hellraiser Judgment

I was an extra in this scene , filmed in London. Special effects by John schoonrad awesome day , the guy playing pin head was a prison guard in his full time job , 🤓🤘

I really wish this concept had come to light. It's a fantastic idea and could revitalize the franchise with some actually good storytelling. Aside from this, "The Scarlet Gospels" would really be the only other good direction for the franchise to go in

I might be the only Hellraiser Stan on earth that wishes this hadnt been cancelled. I think this would have made an excellent addition to the series. i love campy stuff. Every Hellraiser movie brought something fun into my eyeholes and if this had provided even a little bit of backstory with that....well!. would have been cool.

To be very honest, this complete redesign of Hellraiser is actually good. Excluding the sword pinhead wields. All in all, this is a good trailer, wish this was still in production. Besides, everyone has their own idea of what hellraiser should truly look, leave it to that.

Hellraiser: Origins was a cancelled independent film project based on Clive Barker's Hellraiser franchise and was presented as a two minute long pitch trailer directed by Mike Le Han

Ok, so for those who don’t know; this was a pitch trailer for a Hellraiser reboot that was ultimately canceled/turned down by the studios. Clive Barker was also working on a reboot to his own Hellraiser film sadly, the studio passed on his reboot as well and opted for another sequel titled Hellraiser: Judgement which is scheduled to come out next year (2018).

This trailer is just way better than all the lasts hellraiser movies

Here's some background on this. Filmmaker Mike Lè Han created this trailer without permission to Dimension Films in the hopes he could be hired and write or direct the film. According to Lè Han, he wanted it to be a big and grand story. Which was why it was scrapped. It was too ambitious for a franchise known to be low budget. And 6 days when the video was uploaded, from out of nowhere, Clive Barker tweeted that he was approached by Dimension Films for a reboot and already sent in his own script with Doug Bradley returning. And to this day, Barker never knowledged this trailer's existence.

Imagine if Hell is literally like this, lol. This reminds me of the Divine Comedy and some NDE experience stories.

I remember first seeing this when it was first posted and wishing it was real! I would love to see a remake of Hellraiser on this level!!!!

Imagine an alternative version of Adam and Eve, using this concept and intro. But instead of they eating the 🍎, they found the first Lament Configuration box. And they were dragged to Hell. And this would be the sequel, after the original sin, all human souls, sons/daughters of Adam and Eve would begin always in Hell. And the original Pinhead was this version of the garden 🐍. Both movies would be the origins story of mankind and the cenobites.
