Everyone was underestimating this Venezuela team, even Oswaldo Sanchez said he saw "no way Venezuela could beat Mexico" before the transmission. Congratulations to Venezuela and their excellent team. I hope they top the group and become a dark horse.

Mexico has some serious questions to answer if they want to be taken seriously again. As a USMNT fan, it’s sad to see how far they’ve fallen. Hopefully they shape up against Ecuador, or else we can pretty much forget about them being relevant for the next couple of years.

That long over-the-top through ball was a gem in the 19th by Mexico. In fact, there were several balls played over the top that were incredible looking chances, but that ball in the 19th minute was special.
