I know this is late, but it took a while to count each kill. You killed 491 zombies by melee, 8 with ranged items, and 673 with the zombie tunnel.

This is 2 years later but imo one of the biggest changes you could've made is make your lava "moat" 2 or more blocks long/wide. It would've forced the zombies to literally swim through the lava to even reach your walls, which would mean they'd be burning even longer before they got the chance to start tearing it down. Then doing the water on top of that likely would've helped tremendously.
