What's NBA 2k21 Like, After Servers Shut Down? New & Old Gen

They should make it when the servers are shut down you could at least play Mycareer nba

This was by far my favorite NBA 2K of ALL TIME! The shot aiming mechanic was incredibly frustrating at first, but after taking the time to practice, it became my favorite thing about the game! It was an awesome skill gap for those who put in the time to master! I'm so mad they took it out the game the following year. People say people were using a Zen to exploit it, but they do that every single year anyways and there's no way around Zens. People are literally still finding away to Zen on NBA 2K23 shot timing. Cheaters are always going to find a way to cheat, but for those who actually used the Shot Aiming legitimately, it made the game so much more fun in my opinion. Bring back #shotaiming!

bro this is so stupid after 2k17 when they shut the servers down you cant even play mycareer which got me really upset when i redownloaded 2k19 and the mycareer story wasnt actually there you just pick your team. The 2k19 story was so good imagine how much hard work it took for the devs to make it just to be shut down 2 years later

21 Old Gen Was My Favorite Game. It Carried Tha Pandemic. It Carried TikTok Too. Think About All The Content Creators && Good Things That Came Out This Game.

My only complaints on these games is because you cannot play the story mode off line. You can only play generic modes like my NBA or my league. Those are the only two accessible modes that you can play on but not my career they used to do it with the story mode in 2K 17 but then they just stopped using it until 2K 18 and 19 came around pretty sad how 2K has changed throughout these years. I really hope that they do step their game up maybe to get 24 might let us be able to have off my my career experience with the story mode. I hope that’s what they’re going to try. to go for, but if not, I’m not buying a game

This was the only 2k I could actually shoot on and then they ruined the shot meter in the next game so this is technically my favorite 2k because I only played my career nba and actually had fun

Ay how do you get the late year rosters like for sim reason it has the bubble season roster like in ur vid but it doesn’t have the 20-21 like with harden is and kyrie and that was before harden got traded to the 76ers cuz that’s in 22 so I just wanted to know if you can even get the actual roster for 21 and not 20s roster

I’ve been playing these games for years and now my kids play them So we’ve established that roughly after two years NBA 2K23 will shut down the servers. You will no longer have access to my career or myteam. But if you’re on a PlayStation 4, you will have access to playing off-line in my league. Is that correct? Sometimes I like to just chill and play a playoff bracket verse old school championship teams in my league off line. Theoretically, that should never go away correct. Sorry for the long winding message and I appreciate all of your content

I got a question. I'm replaying 2k21 PS4 version with my PS5 so all the save data is gone, basically playing from the ground up. I noticed that the roster is that of before the season even began so the 2020 rookies aren't there yet and McGee is still with the Lakers for example. Do these rosters no longer update to the final roster of that season? Am I stuck with playing 2k21 without Ant and Melo?

So what it boils down to is you're wasting your time your money to play a game that has at best a two-year life span. I miss the old days, where if you bought a game 20 years ago you can still play it but with the dependence on the internet everything game wise is temporary.
