Slow motion Butterfly in flight

Slow motion makes butterflies just so magical and soothing to watch. They are more majestic in slow motion. Just like bees world wide butterflies seem to be fewer and fewer. I have no statistics on this but it would be a shame to loose them and the flowers and food that they pollinate.

I actually want to grow up to become an entomologist specializing in butterflies. Thanks for this video, I quite enjoyed it.

It's like gardeners say, everyone wants butterflies but no one wants caterpillars. It's a major help to butterfly species to plant native plants and let the caterpillars eat from them without spraying them with pesticides. There are resources online and in local garden shops for planting both butterfly and caterpillar friendly plants.

Very Cool...I had no idea butterfly wings had so much curvy wave action when they flap—always pictured them being fairly rigid.
