Israel Seizes Gaza's Border with Egypt | Vantage with Palki Sharma

Israel's national security advisor has said that the war in Gaza will last seven more months, effectively until the end of 2024. His comments came as Israel's military seized a buffer zone between Gaza and Egypt. The buffer zone, called Philadelphi corridor, is supposed to be a demilitarised zone as per the 1979 peace deal between Israel and Egypt. Cairo has warned Israel against excess military deployment in the region. Meanwhile, Israel's air strikes on Rafah have triggered an exodus of refugees from the city. The US has called on Israel to draft a post-war plan for Gaza. India too has expressed "concern" over Sunday's air strike that killed at least 45 civilians. Palki Sharma tells you more.

Egypt admitted the existence of those tunnels, months ago, but promised that it had closed them. Now the IDF has discovered no less than 82 working tunnels under the border, and it's working to close them all. Egypt is understandably embarrassed. Israel is understandably annoyed.

I'm many thousands of miles away from Israel/Egypt and even I knew about the tunnels years before Oct7. So for Egypt not to know about it, is absolutely impossible.

Erdogan speaking about humanity 😅. The middle East vanished Christians now they speak about humanity is very funny. Egypt was the country which helped sinwar to escape from gaza.
  • @conradking7152
You obviously have not seen the border between Gaza and Egypt. That's why they have the tunnels under the border. Everyone knows about the tunnels don't act ignorant. Egypt simply got caught out and needed a spin.

Remember how this started. Isreal was enjoying a peaceful Saturday morning, last day of a Israeli holiday. Then evil came and broke that peace. What about those that were killed that morning? Raped repeated, even after they were dead? What about them? Houses burned, destroyed?. Who is talking about these people? And the hostages? They are still not home! God help them.
  • Nato must think twice about Israel situation there the only one who had an air defense who could probably help them specially Europe...

Egypt definitely has some explaining to do. I wouldn't be surprised if they were the main supplier
  • Palki, does it mean that you are not aware that over 50 tunnels has been found in the border between the gaza strip and egypt, Or you just choose to ignore it?
  • @ytbysaa1317

Palki JI indeed you have become an alzazeera reporter when it comes to Israel & hamas. Why do terrorists take shelter among ordinary people or more accurately didn't Palestinians shelter hamas. Still hamas is not talking about Israeli hostages. There are always repercussions of what you do though might be little intense than expected.
  • @bkay5047
Egypt has been complicit with supplying Hamas. Egypt will do what Israel tells it to or it will get spanked!
  • @93adennis
Tunnels have been found leading from Gaza across the Philadelphia crossing into Egypt. That's why Israel needs to manage and stop Hamas getting resupplied to continued their declaration to repeat Oct 7 over and over again. If any nation was in Israel's position wouldn't it do the same ?
  • India is eager to become global power without increasing military technology power, that can't be possible.
