I really gotta applaud Disney for the idea of having Ant-Man "shrink" A Bug's Land into a glass dome in his hand. My heart really melted that time for Disney to preserve history by using a character from the replacement IP who is also an insect and capable of shrinking to show and tell others about his fondness about the insect theme park that used to be there.

It still blows my mind they got rid of the very charming bugs land for an avengers parking lot

ant-man holding the minature bug's land is probably the best send-off they could have done with that part of the park, if he showed me it i probably would have cried😭

I was there bugs land’s final day open, I remember the last hour the cast members all got emotional and told us goodbye, I miss bug’s land

Honestly my head cannon now is that Bug’s Land was accidentally grown by Pym tech and was only recently discovered by the Avengers who shrunk it back to norma size. It just makes the world of the parks feel very interconnected.

    Bugs Land > Avengers Campus.

I loved a bugs land. It was immersive and had so much shade. Even though it was all kiddy rides, i enjoyed going there every time. It just felt classic pixar.
  • awesome video! seeing Ant-Man holding a shrunken version of A Bugs land is both heartwarming and hilarious at the same time 🤣

It's thought to be a bug, but it's tougher to be in Avengers campus. That place is soulless

Last year I went to Disneyland with my school marching band, and we walked through the backstage area for California adventure. There was one spot in a backstage parking lot with a few statues from a bugs land on display, and they still looked great!
  • One more thing is in the Webslingers load station, you can actually see a maintenance panel for the Hopper animatronic. The label still says HOPPER AA.

I loved the dense foliage and cool shade of A Bug's Land. Avengers Campus does not have nearly as much to do for kids, and it is far less relaxing.

We lived at Bugs Land when our sons were toddlers. We spent so many hours there each trip! I have tons of home videos of them on the various rides! This tears me up thinking about the way things were.

Loved this place. When we first went in '06, it was the only area in all of DCA that I thought was any good. The reason? Theming. It was themed to a great Disney movie. It was also perfect as my kids practically grew up going to this land. It was a right a passage for all three of them. We absolutely LOVED Heimlich's Chew-Chew - it was a great story, funny, lots of surprises. And I loved the idea of entering a land feeling like a bug from the movie. So great! I was sad to see it go. But it coincided with all my kids being of age where Bug's Land wasn't their favorite. But Marvel is! So, it totally worked out for me, though I miss the land itself. The biggest let down is that they didn't put Heimlich's Chew-Chew anywhere else in the park.

I remember going to those restrooms and i heard one of the characters (on the speakers) say about how "bathrooms aren't bathrooms because you don't take a bath in them"

I swear, whenever I step into the Avengers Campus, I say "Man... I want to be in Bug's Land right now..."

the Antman part is freakin' cool. It lives on.
