I made another quick video trying to work out how the three different modes work, as seen at 1:30 in the manual. In passive mode, it will stay still until you touch it. Im not sure what the difference is between normal and active. https://youtu.be/8yz1HgJqbVs

4:21 I laughed and covered my mouth with sorrow face going "noo poor baby" at the same time. Only a goofy cat being goofy can invoke those 2 emotions and reactions at the same time like that. XD

They definitely need a softer shell. Cats dont usually like loud noises.

Got one, had to send it back. Says it works on short carpet, but doesn't. Only works on hard floors.

Wish I had as much carpet as you - we have wooden floorboards throughout and the Cheerble mini is noisy as HECK. Otherwise my 10 month old (at the time of writing) kitties are pretty intrigued, and prefer the pink/purple setting the best, preferring to chase it everywhere than for it to just go mental in one place

Mine broke after 1 year, on hit turns off completely , definetly not worth the price point :(
