Les plants himself in Bigfoot hot spots across North America, collecting stories and experiences from Bigfoot believers, gathering and examining evidence to debunk the mysteries that surround this ancient legend. Les has had his own eerie experiences in the wild, things he can’t quite explain, but he isn’t a Bigfoot believer. It’s not his job to say it’s an alien or an ape. It’s his job to wage war in the middle ground, where a battle is raging for reason. But what happens when reason isn’t enough? Over and over, Les encounters people who approach Bigfoot from a more spiritual angle. Is there an intelligent life-form surviving in the forgotten wilderness of our world? And if so, does it want to be found?

Les is such a cool dude, level headed and objective yet open minded he’s definitely been a huge impact on me as a young man and still to this day is someone who I admire and look up to

I remember falling asleep to les's bigfoot playlist and being awoken from a dead sleep to the sounds of that howl in the woods. Seriously bone chilling, and for it to be picked up on the microphone means it was far louder for them in person.

Please continue this series Les. I'm obsessed and I really appreciate your skepticism and curiosity.
  • I’m going to go into withdrawals when the series is over. LOL. (Comment of genuine appreciation. I'm really enjoying these.)

You REALLY need to go back and try again. I'd love to see more episodes, everyone would.
  • Les Stroud deserves major respect because what he does is above and beyond, would you go out and do what he does basically putting his life's at risk.
  • I've spent a lot of time in the woods, even at night, and I can say I've never been truly scared by anything I've encountered. If I had heard that scream, no matter the circumstance, I would be terrified, wtf.

I'm glad people are loving this - I've been dying for a second season!

Man I would love more of this series, so cool how Les does it and level headed he is as a person
  • It has happened on more than one occasion that crows, in particular, have a tendancy to leave gift for their favourite people. When i was a child i used to give the crows in my garden food (like normal birdsseeds-food). The days i gave one special crow half an oreo, he ALWAYS dropped off something shiney on the porch in the evenings. HOURS later since my gift to him. Crows are highly intelligent and empathic. I am convinced there are more of these intelligent beings out there…

Can you guys imagine if it was actually just two groups of big foot hunters wooping at each other LOL
  • @k.c.2213
Les mimicking the squirrel by making kissy noises is probably the most adorable thing I've seen him do lol.

Les, you approach this topic with a great mindset and really have a great way of just being real unlike just about every other "reality" show.. any way you would do a second season? You would have plenty of supporters for sure including myself..

Les, this series has been such a fun journey to be apart of, as is all of your work. I enjoyed the music and transitions of this particular episode! I'm excited for the Director's Commentary on this one and all related to the Sasquatch Phenomenon.

The best thing about les stroud is the fact he is genuinely out in the world looking for the thing he is open minded but not full on like a Todd standing. I mean there nothing worse than people who have bigfoot sights then dont go in the woods just stand in front of a green screen telling other people's stories, big shout to les for getting out there and looking.
