People have to realize that Moira is LITERALLY a take and give support. Her orbs are literally the key element to helping the team survive while she damages to get more heals! It’s a combination of things.

Redundancy on heals. Your healing was probably crazy high, but that's not going to swing fights. It's ok for your other supports to get some healing done as well.

I always throw a healing orb first, into the team fight. Damage as much as i can until i can throw a damage orb and use the spray

I think they're using healing orb because they feel like they're falling behind on healing, but when you don't use damage orb you're losing more value from your main heal because it's not getting recharged so you're starving yourself. Especially when you use a healing orb when your team is 90% full. The Lucio should take care of that while you're getting your resources back. If you had full healing recourses then I could see going for the healing orb on 90% health teammates.
