I'm coming to the point (in all my relationships) that mirroring the behavior DOES NOT go anywhere. They keep doing what they're doing, and you keep giving it back to them. No real progress is made and years go by. You have to just say what they're doing is bothering you. Then they have to deal with it. Then end!

My problem is that he CANNOT shut up!! He talks to the point he becomes freakn boring!!! He beats a conversation to DEATH! So now that he finally shut up, I don’t know what he’s doing. He’s driving me crazy! I get confused as to what he’s even doing now??!! I feel like he’s playing games & I don’t want to be doing this!!! This makes me feel it’s been 7 yrs tooooo long!!!

Hi Helena, i've been following most of your programs, and i don't fully understand, how circular dating ties in with meeting the guys' family Lets say am circular dating 3 guys and they all invite me to meet their families. I find that would be too much. What would you advise to be a healthy boundary/feeling statement for meeting with my dates' family? For e.g, if i were to say, "i'd like to meet your family once we're proposed, or once we're sure it's you and me at the end of this". Would that be normal? So what youre saying is, if a guy doesnt respond to us for a while and acts distant, ideally we should ask him why he's not being in contact and let him know we don't like that? Cause otherwise how will a guy know how we feel and to not keep doing that if we don't tell him.
