Columbia University is in the hot seat as House Republicans are ready to question four of its top officials on Wednesday for a hearing regarding antisemitism on campus.  

Columbia President Nemat Shafik, along with two members of the Board of Trustees and a professor, will be questioned by the House Education and the Workforce Committee after missing the December hearing that became the downfall of other university heads.  

Shafik was invited to the December hearing that also focused on antisemitism at Harvard University, the University of Pennsylvania (UPenn) and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) but was unable to make it due to previous travel plans.  

The hearing is slated to begin at 10:15 a.m. EDT.

    DOJ must step in to legally act against PFLP speakers and school faculty and staff. Shafik must go.

    Rep. Rick Allen is using the Old Testament to advocate for the protections of Jews and Israel on campuses. Considering the religious conflict involved in the Gaza conflict, I would prefer that we keep references to religious texts out of discussion of hatred of people practicing certain faiths. The U.S. protects practicing of many faiths, but it is ultimately a secular government.

    1:41:00 Where are the university faculty teaching White Supremacy to their students as curiculum? I hear a lot about white priveledge and racial descrimination from whites, but where's the faculty support pro white supremacist rallies on campuses? Or would she call Turning Points USA that organization?
