I dont get why does it even matter why he decided to leave. I have plenty of friends who are or were in military, and ability to leave if they want it. Whenever they choose to leave, they choos to leave.

Even entertaining the idea that people need to know when he put his retirement package in for retirement is garbage. He had every right to retire. We don't get to know his motivation. Its his business and no one elses. Its gross Vance and the press is feeding this.

This is very interesting. Was curious about how he retired. The NCO above him would have never allowed it to happen but Walz skipped the chain of command to do a back door deal with officers. After he left it rattled the soldiers under his command. This was from the Daily Caller and the NCO above him was CSM Doug Julin.
