NEVER FORGET: At one time, doctors used to recommend smoking cigarettes ...

All I know is that shortly after I quit seed oils, my decades-long joint pain VANISHED, along with high blood pressure. At 62, I’m dramatically healthier and stronger than I was prior to dumping them. I’m now carnivore(ish), high fat, very low carb and loving life!

Nice to know that the car oil industry will always have supporters.
  • Doctor Mike Israel also recently published a seed oils aren't bad video. In fact six months ago every major company in America went to the government and asked them to tell people to stop saying that seed oils are bad. I'm grateful when doctors tell me when they support seed oils so I know never to listen to a paid for opinion again

Those vegetable/seed oils are highly processed. I cut them out, along with several other inflammatory things that are sold as foods.

I have MS and my evidence is whenever I have seed oils of any kind my hands and feet become numb and I lose hand eye coordination as well as a number of other symptoms, no thanks mainstream, I'll stick to butter and animal fats.

Many years ago I suffered cystic acne (well into my 40's). Once I learned how much of the seed oils were in my diet I made a solid effort to substitute in natural oils (fish, saturated fat). The cystic acne vanished. My body hates them enough to push them out through my skin and every time I have a high seed oil dinner, three days later I have acne. It's gross.
  • Mike thank you... I heard A PhD exercise scientist say seed oils are fine and nearly facepalmed my head off. It's unbelievable "educated" doctors and PhDs believe these things are safe for consumption.

A family friend of mine is an owner and chef of a vegan restaurant. She uses seed oil a lot. She is around 40 and had to be hospitalized recently. In Asia, folks reuse oil often. This oxidized seed oil is probably a major contributor to the high liver cancer rates.

1.crush seed to remove 3/4 of oil 2.remainder makes canola cake 3.70 minute chemical wash with "solvent" to extract 1/4 oil 4.sell remaining cake as animal feed 5.rince and wash oil with drain cleaner (sodium hydroxide) 6.spin to seperate, sell impurities to soap manufacters 7.cool oil to solidify and remove putrid fat 8.keep putrid fat to make vegetable shortening 9.wash and filter again 10.bleach to lighten colour 11.inject steam to remove canola smell 12.pour into toxic plastic bottles or you could just buy butter.... https://youtu.be/Cfk2IXlZdbI?si=1TGyEqoscwnoVyap&t=49
  • Funny how since i stopped eating seed oils and only eat animal fats, all of my inflammatory conditions have resolved and ive lost 10's of kg of body fat.
  • @qtip919
I usually just do the opposite of whatever 'experts' tell me
  • @lalaland2797
I’m still under the impression that seed oils are bad
  • @ChadCilli
Layne cherry picked the studies. Go read them. They don’t support his claims.

If you ever watch Ben Bikman, he talks about how seed oils stop fat cells from growing through hyperplasia, so since they can’t increased in number they have to carry a fat load that is higher than they are designed too, which causes inflammation and insulin resistance. Keep in mind this explanation has 2 factors, one is energy overload(over eating), and the second is storage restriction.(down regulated hyperplasia)

I feel much better and have decreased inflammation after eating fish 7 days a week and cutting out all seed oil, and that includes just eliminating restaurant food.
  • If i have a drop of seed oil i have insomnia for 2 days. I know that sounds extreme to people but it’s definitely my lived experience. My whole neurology functions so differently when i dont eat seed oils (and sugar to a lesser extent i can handle some amount of). Ever since i came down with liver damage my sleep has been the main system disrupted… I’m lucky i can live life without sleeping pills! All i have to do is eat real food. Sucks most food isn’t real though lol so i have to do some extreme due diligence to maintain homeostasis. Thank you for always bringing the FACTS!
