This was 5 years ago. He is Danta Wright and the mother of the victim didn’t want to sit through a trial so the judge sentenced him to 25 to 53 years as agreed to on the plea bargain. I give this mom credit because I couldn’t sit by and watch as the person who ended my child’s life has the audacity to smile, laugh and make a mockery of what my poor child had to endure at the hands of pure EVIL! I hope and pray that he NEVER sees the light of day in any other setting besides prison where he belongs.

Finally; a Judge with some sense. I'm a Black woman and I believe in justice and I'm so tired of these young criminals getting away with a slap on the wrist.

The fact he smiles and see no accountability for what he did, to me is very scary. The fact the family chose to not to take it trial says speaks volumes. I 🙏 this family finds peace and that God will comfort them.

His smiling was true disrespect to all involved , particularly to the mother of the victim . I hope this pos meets a similar fate as his victim someday , with his attitude , I can see that happening .
