  • I absolutely love these "Three Idiots and a _____ Challenge" videos. Entertaining, great for eating up time on Sunday mornings, and seeing older rides actually perform quite well is awesome. As always, great job TFL!
  • It’s like the old days just the OG crew driving cheap old trucks. Feels like hanging with old friends. Thanks for years of cool content.

I love these episodes. But one criticism, put them all on the same style tire. Tires are so critical off road. A ford raptor on highway tires would suck in the snow too. With the prices of the vehicles being so different it’s one factor that could be an even playing field.

Regardless of the outcome, you’ve found three of the cleanest 90’s SUVs around! No rust, no dents, no “patina”, and they work. These aren’t normal FB Marketplace beaters.
  • @TheNCNelsons
These videos with older vehicles are some of the most fun

Still running a 2000 Ford Expedition Eddie Bauer. 5.4 still runs strong with over 200k miles.
  • My 2000 Chevy Suburban 5.3L 4x4 has nearly 300,000 miles behind it. Runs like new and serves as a base camp. Maintenance is easy, ride is smooth with new KYB shocks and BFG TKO2’s.

Whatever you choose, you cant go wrong, this SUVs can last forever..
  • Total fun. I have a 94 burban with 300k, and a 2001 Toy Sequoia. The Toy is super nice, but that ole burban is the most useful, as I can haul an 8' sheet of plywood in back
  • @craigquann
I'd personally buy the Tahoe. Those old GMs were bulletproof especially if you took care of them. And parts were/are CHEAP!!!
  • @golfgti47
I’m so so happy you guys are finally featuring a 1997-2002 Expedition! I always thought it was so underrated. I have one and am super happy that it has. 2wd, 4 auto, 4 high and 4 low. Factory 31’s. Rear limited slip. Decent ground clearance. Very hard to kill and can be had for half a Tahoe

All of my 97-02 Round Nose Expeditions and F150s were extremely solid rigs. I owned 6 of them, all variations, 4.6 & 5.4 Triton engines, 4x4 and RWD, Eddie Bauer, even a 99 SSV Cop Version Expediton with rubber floors. Great trucks, very reliable.
  • @weegeemike
Tahoe gets my vote. I love the GMt400s. One of the longest lasting and most reliable platforms ever made. My mom had a '99 Yukon very similar to this Tahoe. Great truck, very reliable. It has over 300k mi when she sold it.
  • The 100k mile remark on Tahoe is crazy … the majority of 1st Gen tahoes or any Gmt400 usually has welll over 250k lol , just go on marketplace , there’s a lot over 300-350k miles lol .
  • @dillonh321
Lmao. We are getting a pretty good picture of what Tommy’s childhood looked like during the tombstone hill portion of the episode. “Shut up and eat some baby m&ms.”
  • @repp2
I love the Landcruiser but when I think Family SUV from the late 90s early 2000s I think Tahoe, it’s just so iconic.
  • @BeachJedi101
In terms of reliability, those were the golden years for GMC. Those cars last forever. Still see them everywhere.
