HARRY POTTER COLLECTION ROOM TOUR 2022

For the longest time I felt judged for loving Harry Potter so much and collecting things. Then seeing your collection made me realize it's what I love! Who cares what other people think! I just got Hagrid and the leaky cauldron funko pop yesterday. Found it at my target, which is like un heard of.

If I could afford to have a Harry Potter room like this, I'd make it a reading room that would feel like it belongs at Hogwarts. I'd buy and make scale size replicas as well as any object that could fit in the hp world (no funko pops and all of that). I'd make it really cozy with a fireplace, some rugs, a nice vintage armchair and a bunch of plants and candles. I'd also try to create a starry ceiling (maybe with fairy lights and glow in the dark stickers) and from it hang candles, pixies and flying keys. I'd get tons of pretty vintage books, I'd buy and replicate spellbooks and also get those beautiful art books about magical creatures and plants. (would love an Easton Press edition of Faeries by Brian Froud) I'd fill one wall with a bunch of vintage carved frames and replicate Hogwarts paintings, maybe get some digital frames so the pictures move. I'd get an antique glass cabinet, fill it with potion bottles (all different sizes with old labels and strange things inside), add some hanging dried herbs and odd witchy things and buy the skelegro, love potion, felix felicis and pumpkin juice replicas. As for wands, I'd only display a few and keep the other ones in their box, get some more empty ones and create some shelves just like at Ollivander's. Oooh I could get floor to ceiling bookshelves with a rolling ladder! Ok I need to stop lol.
