David is (imo) the pinnacle of death metal vocalists. Those first few Morbid Angel albums are absolute classics.

Vanessa must have loved Dave and Trey...definitely for a reason, they were well represented in Headbanger's Ball with their stunning videos at the time. Still worthy of all the praise. Covenant was such a masterpiece...

Reasons in 1993 for climate change: tsunamis, hurricanes, extreme heat, Morbid Angel.

Omg David Vincent is soo handsome in this interview! 🙈💜 The deep voice and so well spoken... 😍
  • Saw that tour July 31st 1993 at liberty lunch.....Austin TX...still have the shirt and cd.....good times
  • Saw em on this tour. Covenant is my favorite DM album of all time. Like lightning in a bottle.

His cadence with the way he speaks reminds me a lot of how Ronnie Dio spoke. Very articulate and clear. Seems really wise here for such a young dude \m/
  • For everyone in the comment section talking about a time machine: I Am Morbid is currently doing a European '30y Covenant' Tour (August 1-19)! Not only is it your chance to hear them play Morbid Angel's iconic "Covenant" album in its entirety (minus "Angel of Disease" because of the credits) but also to see both frontman David Vincent and drummer Pete "The Feet" Sandoval in this line-up.

Theatre of Pain...love that album. Always thought they were world's apart from metal yet so very dark.

After the Covenant tour cycle David Vincent changed, Trey and Pete took the music on Domination to the next level but I feel David's heart wasn't in it anymore. The vocals were the weakest link on Domination.

All these years later in 2023, and Evil D still has it. I hope Vltimas releases more material after I Am Morbid is on tour break.
