I can't believe someone got Bezos FINALLY. It's been too long without hearing him speak. Way to go, Lex. Thank you!
  • @HarisTsitou
A guest even Rogan would be jealous of, insane!
  • @10-4PowerUp
Given what he's accomplished, having him share his thoughts in such a frank way, is a great historical contribution. It's significant to have him speaking for himself and to not have some future biographer distort who he was, or what he thought.

Bezos went from selling books to looking like he could bench an entire library 💪

I’m conflicted. I have heard how horrible Jeff Bezos’ business practices are, but he actually seems like a down to earth guy. Very smart and well spoken to say the least
  • @lordalmightyjr

    Employee:Am i fired? Jeff:No,you are promoted to a customer.
  • @NikitaCoulombe
I appreciate Jeff's thoughts on dispute resolution at 1:03:10 - "I disagree and commit" and how compromise is often a bad way to solve disagreements. Very helpful and practical.

A year ago I worked at UPS during “peak season” (Black Friday-Christmas Eve) my team of workers would get packages from a belt a few would sort them onto four different hand trucks each one designated for a particular delivery truck the packages needed to be loaded on. Three of the hand trucks were the same size but one of them was 2.5 times as big as the others. I realized that we were using the long one for the closest truck to the belt, which was inefficient. So I went to my supervisor and told her that we should use it for the furthest truck instead, as that would save steps. She looked me in my eye and said “that doesn’t matter, it’s the same number of packages going to the same place, you need to work faster.” I bought Amazon stock with my very next paycheck 😂

Lex, thank you for all that you do and provide us in creating an archive of incredible conversations that one day may be studied themselves by future historians.
  • @LectricGo
So much more likeable than I expected. I'm so glad Jeff did this.
  • This is one of your best interviews, Lex. This has to be Jeff’s best PR move. He came across as very genuine and relatable.
