We started using audio books for some of our read alouds. It helped me out a ton.

I’m the same with you with homemaking. We also had to implement a more structured schedule this year. It’s been pretty helpful. Great video.

Everand (used to be Scribd) is a much more economical way to utilize audiobooks. You pay a monthly fee and can listen to as many audiobooks as you’d want. But you don’t own them then. I don’t think you are alone at all with feeling like you could barely keep your head above water. The struggle is real to balance housework, cooking, cleaning and all that and homeschooling and all that entails. I’m sorry for your loss. ❤️

We call it our homeschool flow! We don't do scheduled times either lol. I print it and laminate it and they can check it off with a dry erase marker. We use Explode the Code with All about spelling (&THTB Handwriting), I just take spelling really slow but it's not too much for us.

What do you use for math

I’ve struggled with consistency this year too! I am taking the time to reevaluate for our next Quarter and coming up with a game plan. Structure is what works for me so I’m not squirreling all day which leads my daughter to squirrel even more. Sarah Mackenzie teaches about a spiral notebook. Grab a cheap notebook and make a checklist for your daughter everyday and she is in charge of getting her things done and knows what to expect for the day. You did great this year,Kristen.🤎
